Mohan Babu in Pa Paandi remake
Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu share a close bonding. They have even shared screen space together in ‘Peddarayudu’. Rajini offered the script of Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary to Mohan Babu because of their friendship. Once again, Thalaivar is doing a favour to his good friend.
Yesterday, Dhanush’s Directorial Debut ‘Power Pandi’ opened to positive reviews and good word-of-mouth. A special screening was arranged for Mohan Babu as well. The Collection King liked the movie immensely and congratulated the whole team. It was then Rajini suggested Mohan Babu why don’t he remake the movie in Telugu.
Director Subramaniam Siva of ‘Donga Dongadi’ fame will be wielding the megaphone of ‘Power Pandi’ Telugu remake. Makers would finalise rest of the cast in the upcoming months.
‘Power Pandi’ is the emotional journey of an ageing stuntman. Raj Kiran essayed the lead role. Dhanush and Mohan Babu will be jointly producing the Telugu remake.
