Triumph Bonneville Bobber launched at a price of Rs.9.09 lakhs

When it comes to making retro themed motorcycles that look conventional but come loaded with modern features, Triumph motorcycles is one of the first names that come to mind. They already have the Bonneville range in India which has got itself a new top of the line addition in the form of Triumph Bonneville Bobber, which has been launched at a price tag of Rs 9.09 lakhs in ex-showroom, Delhi.

With this, the Bonneville range in India extends to a total of 5 model offerings – Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Thruxton R along with the Bobber. In terms of gadgetry, the bike gets electronic rider aids like Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), traction control and ride-by-wire system that allows for different rider modes.

Interestingly, the rear-end of the motorcycle makes it look like a hard tail but it has a cleverly integrated mono shock suspension at the back. The sculpted fuel tank, spoked wheel design with wide tyres and bar-end rear view mirrors complete the retro look.

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber is certainly a looker and with its retro-modern styling, it creates a unique space for itself in the Indian motorcycle market but in terms of price, it will be competing against the likes of the Indian Scout Sixty and the Harley-Davidson Street Bob.
